Keyboard shortcuts
TutuCut keyboard shortcuts: play/pause, split, delete, undo/redo, zoom the timeline, J-K-L shuttle, nudge clips, copy and paste. They follow CapCut conventions.
Shortcuts follow CapCut conventions. A few combinations the browser claims for itself (Ctrl+E, Ctrl+R, Ctrl+T) are deliberately left alone — hijacking browser shortcuts confuses more than it helps.
FAQ
Are there shortcuts on mobile?
On a phone you use gestures: long-press a clip to start dragging, pinch to zoom the timeline, tap to select. On a tablet with an external keyboard, the desktop shortcuts work as usual.
Can shortcuts be customised?
Not currently. They follow CapCut conventions, which most people do not need to change.
Why does a shortcut sometimes do nothing?
Usually because focus is inside a text field (while editing subtitle text, for example), so the key is treated as typing. Click an empty part of the timeline to give focus back.
