When you should use them instead of us
- You want lots of ready-made templates and stock (intros, stickers, music) to drop in — their libraries are far bigger than ours.
- Several people need to edit one project together — we have no team collaboration.
- Your device has little memory and you must handle a long 4K video — we process on your device, so its memory is the limit.

- How is TutuCut different from CapCut?
- The interface follows CapCut, so it works much the same. The differences: TutuCut needs no account, processes video in your browser without uploading, and exports without a watermark; CapCut’s web editor asks you to sign in first, and exports using Pro assets ask you to upgrade.
- Clipchamp does not upload video either — so what is different?
- Right — Clipchamp’s personal version also processes on your computer and exports without a watermark. The difference is that Clipchamp needs a Microsoft account to start; TutuCut works as soon as the page opens, and its AI can build an animated video from scratch (motion graphics, 3D scenes, a talking character). Clipchamp has a free stock library, where it is ahead of us.
- What does “unverified” mean?
- It means we found no clear statement in that product’s official help pages. The answer may be yes or no, but we would rather leave it open than invent answers about someone else’s product; you can check their site yourself.
