A template is a whole project with clips, text and timing already laid out, so it lives in the editor rather than in a one-shot tool. This page takes you straight there.
A template is not a file you convert, it is a starting arrangement: tracks, text, timing, all already placed.
The editor ships with 12 starter templates. Applying one loads its whole arrangement, and then you swap in your own footage.
Anything you build can be saved as your own template and reused, which is where templates earn their keep.
