How are the pieces named?
Each keeps the original name with a number added, in order, so they stay sorted however your file manager lists them.
Can I split at an exact second?
Yes — scrub the player to the moment you want and press "cut here". The cut lands on the nearest frame.
Does each piece keep the sound?
Yes. Every piece is cut from the source with its own audio.
How many pieces can I make?
As many as you like. More pieces means more encoding passes, so it takes proportionally longer.
Do I need to unzip on a phone?
iOS and Android both open zip files natively now. If you would rather have separate files, split in two passes instead.
